his name been bandied about for over a year now...not featuring in the world cup has quieted it a bit.

I would have said Jay Rodriguez if fit but he should only be considered again come January. Even if no one comes in now, we have quality in Daniel Sturridge and a whole slew of scoring midfielders to support him.

How not to improve? Rodriguez? Lets buy a team that finished 8th.

Remy's representatives would naturally being trying to deny that he failed a medical, it has pretty big implications on the his future career.
