Sunderland are definitely not being ripped off. You're talking about an Italian international on the back of a good loan spell in which he more than impressed. He is incredibly young, has adapted to their style of play already, and has proven to score goals for them. Just because we could sign a better player for less, doesn't mean he is over-valued... I'd say at £14m, he is valued about right. Putting release clauses into contracts make things more complicated, but Bony is arguably worth more than £20. I don't reckon Remy is better, but he is certainly better suited to our current style of play than Borini, especially in terms of leading the line alone... At £8m, he is priced about right too I think. Remy has much lower potential, but maybe we can sacrifice that at times for bringing in a couple of million that might help conclude business now... If it was a case of Davies and Borini or Remy and Moreno, I know which two I'd take.
Borini at 14m is great business, just check how happy Dunk is on U tube.
