My 6 year old asked me to take him to see Liverpool play so just been to book him the Dortmund game and they want £60 for us both .

not going it's silly money he will end supporting Chelsea like his school mates LOL plastic flags are cheap anyway

But seriously, the only point of these friendlies (other than pre-season fitness) is to make money and tap into other markets. They're always going to be expensive.

Considering the prem prices are double that and you should pretty much see the prem team and the new players that is not too bad. Frendlies though are always dull affairs but kids don't know that and the atmosphere should be ok

So I would fork out if I were you

Take your lad the Blackpool pleasure beach or Southport Pleasureland for the day, you'll both have a cracking time and the experience won't feel like you're being too ridiculously ripped off.
