Could somebody please explain to me why Luis Suarez was sold for 11 million LESS than Gareth Bale?

Maybe Bale is vegetarian

Bale is British. Inflated prices and such. Also he is younger. Madrid are richer. Levy is better. Ayre is worse. Suarez is banned for 4months and usually gets his annual end of season ban for biting or racism.

Bale is not prone to mid match munchies

I don't believe Gareth Bale had a release clause in his contract like Suarez did.

Given all that has happened we did well to get that. But agree with all the stuff that Bojangles said. Without that bite we would have got the same without the release clause.

That's pretty much it.

I would've thought the release clause would play a part also.
