Why does everyone want to put Raheem behind the striker? He's so great as a wide man. His pace on the flanks stretches things so much.

He may not replace Suarez's goals, but I think he'll do a good job of replacing the chances Suarez created. His vision looks excellent, and so does his pace. He actually seems pretty strong too.

According to espn:
The statement read: "Sporting Lisbon, in compliance with Article 248 of the Code of Values Securities, announces that it has reached an agreement with Liverpool FC for the transfer of the outright sports rights and 50 percent of the economic rights they held of athlete Lazar Markovic for the amount of 12.5 million euros."
So was Markovic bought for 12.5million euros or 19.8 million pounds? Or was that for Benficas 50% stake only and what about the other half?

They have 50% as the article says, with a third party owning the other half. That would make the total price 25 million Euros, or about 20 million pounds.
