genuinely though...Southampton played really well last season, and the fact is, each of the Southampton players we have been linked with, was a key player for them and they are all quality players.

i dont get why it matters where we buy players from. We bought Suarey from an Ajax team which would have struggled to beat Southampton, yet look at how he turned out.

The main reason Rodgers is after Southampton players and Swansea players is they both play how we play under Rodgers with keeping the ball ext. so he will want players that are comfortable playing like that

Best in the game have no problem playing like it. They may well be good enough but I fail to see how we have widened the net at all after finishing second. All these guys would have come anyway.
