Anyway, I don't quite get this signing either, an unknown, already 20, only 4 appearances for Crewe, released by spurs...sounds strange to me, but perhaps BR sees something in the kid.

I'm not trying to knock the kid before I've seen him play, but if we snapped up big Gary Breen from Portadown FC then I'd also be asking down serous questions. It doesn't seem to make any sense to me. I he was good enough to play for us a CL club, then why did Spurs or Crewe not keep him?
