So he's finally going. Relief from all the controversy, but he'll be sorely missed next season. Football being the funny game it is, I won't be surprised if he bangs in a couple against us in the Champions League.

The whole sad and sordid episode is all starting to become highly suspicious now, I must admit.
He'll be sadly missed up front alongside Sturridge, but we'll survive.
Did ok without him for the first 5 last season iirc?

Growler, I cannot see us doing anything without Suarez. Flames is absolutely right. He'll be a huge loss, that no amount of second shelf purchases will cover.

Did ok without him for the first 5 last season iirc? we just about scraped through with 1-0 wins and not playing the eye catching attacking football that we wrer playing with suarez in the team

all those players who left, the squad they left behind was outstanding pigeon. as for torres, he was already shiite before he left.
abusing suarez is just distracting from the fact that he was our only world class player. he was lethal. watch how average sturridge becomes and how disillusioned the rest of the squad is. they will lose faith in fsg, the club and rodgers. this is gonna come apart.

Haven't seen much of song playing for Barca (mostly because he didnt play) but he was absolutely abysmal during the World Cup. If that is the player he turned into I prefer Lucas.

We are mugs - being played by the media, FIFA and Barca. There is no reason to sell... not when we're doing so well. Very poor decision bowing to idiotic pressures we shouldn't allow to influence. We will not replace Suarez - I don't trust the powers that be to spend that money wisely. We won't get Sanchez either - and players we would have got will no longer be interested with Suarez gone. All the reds fans saying we should sell - you've been conned - Barca will get him cheap and we'll be nowhere near 2nd next season. I can't believe we're this foolish. What are you talking about, he has a release clause and he wants to go to Spain. If the release clause is met, there is nothing LFC can do about it, this is why there are contracts. I am dead sure that he is not leaving if the release clause is not triggered, in fact, i even think that the 4 months ban is working for us as he cannot sulk (or rather it won't make a difference to LFC) or go on strike before the end of the transfer window. How is LFC being foolish, I fail to understand?
