Luis Suarez is suspended from football for four months.
But now he can get around it.
The star has been offered a contract in Kosovo - which is not a member of FIFA.
The shutdown after the bite on Giorgio Chiellini was hard for Luis Suarez. Nine international games and four months away from football was the sentence. The star may not play again until October 26.
But there is a way for Suarez to make a come back significantly earlier than that.
According to the Daily Mail, the 27-year-old has been offered a short-term contract by Hajvilia in Kosovo's highest league. The country is not yet a member of FIFA and therefore not subject to their rules and sanctions.
It might sound ridiculous. But there will be no Super Salary for Suarez if he jumps at the offer. The club offers the star a salary of only £ 1,400 per month. Meanwhile, the club is prepared to pay Liverpool £ 27,500 for the star's services.
- Since we are not part of FIFA yet, I think he can play in Kosovo. We have an offer we will send to Liverpool. It is the maximum we can offer, says Hajvilia sporting director Xhavit Pacolli to Kosovo Sport Plus, according to the Daily Mail.
- We offer £ 27,500 and a salary of £ 1,400 a month. This might sound ridiculous for him, but that's all we can do.
Suarez has recently been on the road to Barcelona. According to Spanish newspaper Sport, the Catalan club is ready to pay £ 34 million plus Alexis Sanchez, a deal the club means to be equivalent to £ 69 million.
Liverpool is said, however, demanding more than £ 90 million for the star.
