darby has made 6 appearances,spearing 3 its a bit soon to see if they are progressing.

i dont expect them to all burst throgh the ranks and start tearing up the premier league but nor do i expect our manager to sign a batch of young players only to let them go a year or 2 later, its not very encouraging. Whether youth, reserve or first team, he buys a lot of sh*t players...some exceptions obviously

Also i think the players like spearing who are closer to a run in the first team shouldnt be going out on loan they should blooded here at the greatest club in the world especially when King Kenny is overseeing the academy

They wont get a run under Rafa at the moment so loans are a good idea.

What they dont get playing in the reserves is the experience of playing in front of crowds and being involved in first team duties.

But Rafa should be giving them a run in my opinion especially when noone has really done enough to cement their place in the team this year....(masch & reina aside)

But doesnt the fact that only Swindon and Leicester have come in for either player suggest to you that their not either ready or good enough for our first team yet?

you're right murph that some players are not good enough but when it comes to pacheco there really is no excuses. the only thing he needs is games to prove how good he is, but imo he has already showed enough to be given more chances.

I saw that Neil Lennon is hoping to take Pacheco to Celtic next season - if we allow that to happen there will be a Moider

Robbie Keane must have been in his ear,if he is not going to get atleast 15-20 appearances next season i'd like to see how he does on loan somewhere.
