As much as i and everyone hate these ridiculous owners of ours, there is no way IMO that they can shoulder much of the blame for this season.... they have not picked the team, tactic, substitutions and yes they arent giving the manager much if anything to spend but he has most certainly had money to spend in the past and he has p*ssed most of it up the wall. If my memory serves me right he paid aorund £8m for Lucas didnt he??? Im not 100% on that so please dont dive on my back if i am wrong but it was a fair bit anyway..
Its no secret he didnt want to sell Xabi in the summer and that he was left with no choice but i would have put Real's brains to the test, instead of 30million we want 30million plus robben, ok it might not sound a good deal from their point of view but if they wanted him that much they would have paid up, if they didnt maybe then Xabi would have seen he wasnt as important to them as Ronaldo or Kaka...again this is only MY opinion

How anyone could want Martin O'neil to be the manager of Liverpool is beyond and hypocritical. People come plan that Rafa's sides are not attractive to watch but yet want to replace him with a manger who's teams play like something out of the dark ages. After just witnessing his side put in a totally inept performance in the FA cup semi final its beyond me. They've got to be one of the most unattractive teams to watch in the prem league. When their playing well the ball spends more time in the air than it does on the floor. I agree Rafa can be to cautious upon times but his sides are also capable of playing exhilarating football also. O'neil sides only know one way, thats hoof ball!

Was a penalty, looked like Mikel took his standing leg with his arm if you watch it slowy. Villa could still be playing that game til next week and they'd never score. Ugly brand of football and to be honest they don't deserve to be in the final playing like that.

He's played the same style of football at every club he's managed and as far as him having a half decent transfer pot what do you think he's had at Villa? He only knows how to play one brand of football.
