Targets: Challenge for champions league quarter final position.
Targets: challenge for the league/very least top 4
Targets: Cup win. (3 year without 1 know)

Defence improvements. Every one saw last season that his is where we need to improve.

Our goals conceded cost us the league. Most for me came from our full backs.
I like clyne to replace Johnson. Clyne is 23. He's very technical and got 4 assists last season with injuries too.... He stops crosses. .. And his stats in terms of blocks and crosses stopped were up there with zabaletta and also ivanovic. Johnson is beyond coaching at his age and he'll be off the wage bill. I'd expect to retrieve 5-10 million for Johnson and use that to buy clyne. He's about to play at the World Cup and he's England's number one right back. We'd be able to sell him.

I like moreno to come in at left back. He's great at going forward. He's a great crosser/dribbler and he's multi functional in terms of his positioning. Rodgers constantly speaks on players being multifunctional. He could be our left back for the next 6-7 years.
I dont want to be held up in negotiations which we are now so I'd put 2 bids in for;

Rodriguez at Wolfsburg/moreno at Sevilla but I think Rodriguez will be too expensive and I think Real Madrid will be in for him. We can't get in a bidding war with the other big teams so I'd just be in for moreno straight away and get the deal done. We need to spend money on the positions that need strengthening and left back is the one that most needs it.

I really like Javi Martinez and I think he should be our big splash this summer. He is world class. He will come in straight away and improve our first 11. We finished second last season and this would be a massive statement and show our intent. He's 25. He's 6 foot 4 and would be suited for the premier league. He can play defensive midfield/centre back and for me he's again multi functional and can play in the right sided centre back role. I think well see in the future more and more defensive midfielders playing as centre backs just because of their footballing ability. Gerrard can't play every game next season and I think in those games Martinez should play there and then in the future he shares that role with gerrard as well. For me I think Martinez would come in and go straight into the first 11. He's immense in the air which is something we lack. He's a great passer. And a very good tackler. He reads the game very well and played half his games at Bayern last season at centre back. He's rumoured to cost between 20-30 million pound and I think if he came in Daniel Agger would have to leave just because of wages and I believe he may want to leave if he can't play.

This most important thing next season is to go all out for the league win! I would still play the younger players in fa and carling cups. I see CL as a bonus
This season that we should also go all out to win. But as I say the most important thing is top 4, with the increase of money from CL in two years it would make it very difficult for teams not in the top 4 to qualify in the future.

I prefer clyne as I do a lot of research based on stats and he's the one up there with the other big right backs in the league. He's pacey as well which is what Flanagan isn't. I think them too could fight it out for right back for me. Martinez is a beast by the way. I think he's for sale/ unhappy at not playing week in week out. He's a future Lfc captain if we get him or even bid for him.

All out for the league. If we get to the final of the fa cup and league cup it would mean nothing if we finished 4th or 5th. We need to convince people last year wasn't a fluke.

3rd in the league and a good CL showing would be great.

Like shaw would be the perfect signing.
I'd take someone like Moreno, Bernat, Ben Davies

Lallana and loveran would be great also for 30mil
Any more and it's not worth it.

Markovic or djuricic from benfica could add something too. We don't have a bottomless pit of money but we hae some players who need to be bombed out.

Reina
Johnson (tired of making excuses for him)
Enrique played better left wing. Injured forever.
Lucas adds nothing anymore.
Moses (he isn't ours I just wanted to reiterate how [oops] he is)

not into stats that much..seen a game where they had to sub clyne at half time cause he just wasn't covering his cb at all on crosses - it was very glenno like...chambers seems to be more intelligent and he is just about to bloom too - very shaw like

For me chambers is not as good as Flanagan and I think he's quite similar. Clyne for me would be very good for home games. You know when you have a lot of the ball. Don't get it wrong. He can defend as well. He's only 23 I think. There are better options out there but I don't think chambers suits us with Flanagan and I also think clyne is better on the ball.

You can't judge a player on 1 game either.
