The manager of Liverpool Football Club next season is...............................................................................................Rafa Benitez.

Stadler & Waldorf can't make a decision between them. Get your money on him to stay cos thats what will happen.

Ron Atkinson is the one Kenny would want.

Hope we do get maureen, but to be honest I can't see anyone doing a worse job than what beni has done this year.

As for someone saying earlier in the thread about we wouldn't be moaning if ngog would have taken his chances then that is down to two reasons a) luck. Should we really have to rely on luck against Birmingham? Or b) the squad isn't good enough, if that's the problem the blame can only land at one persons doorstep

Seeing this thread has widened a few points:

There has to be a question with both Ngog and Babel in regard age and being far from the finished articles yet being expected to pull us out of the mire usually from the bench. When either actually play they are definitely getting in the right positions and that is positive. Ngog got himself into some cracking positions against Birmingham just his final touch/finish wasn't there. That may come I don't know. The same can be said for Babel. Thing is it's a lot easier to do as a secondary striker when we are winning and playing well with confidence sky high. That is not now or pretty much any of the current season.

Secondly, does anyone think that a private equity firm has anymore interest in LFC other than the income from TV revenues etc than the two muppets who own it now? It will be an investment with the view to making a good killing down the road nothing more.

The biggest scandal in regard investment and finances still appears the international merchandising and TV side. These people just don't get it. I travel in SE Asia a lot, and the shops and merchandising events for Man U and Arsenal are everywhere. I still haven't seen one Liverpool event or store yet the following and love for the club is massive. Easily as big as any other premier league club. WTF these morons at Liverpool are doing I do not know.

As for manager, I can't see them paying Benitez off or him going unless they do. Only chance is Juve sort some kind of deal to release him or reduce the pay out substantially.

Moro is his usual unpredictable self. If the above did happen he might fancy the challenge at LFC but he also wants to manage in Spain. Can't see Barca looking at him with their current success but maybe Real would fancy him. Otherwise he has few options in the Premier league as it stands. So yeh it maybe a slightly less long shot.

On the playing side I really don't think we're that short. Raffa just can't get anywhere near the best out of this squad. There is tonnes of potential there, but he just cannot man-manage for sh*t.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
