They love to show England highlights through the years leading up to a World Cup. I'm sick of watching them glorify the 1966 World Cup! It was 50 fcking years ago! Our international record is a disgrace and I don't expect that to change for the foreseeable future.

I remember watching it at the time and I didn’t think it even touch the line, let alone cross it!! Anyway the Ref’s decision is final and therefore it was a goal in legal terms, whatever about justice terms! Good day for the English and a bad day for the Germans!

From a Scottish point of view the 1966 world cup has gave England unrealistic expectations. The fact you have only came close once since then at Italia 90 proves this.

A country the size of England with the biggest football league in the world, we should be making the last 8 of nearly every World Cup. We should also make the last 4 in the euros on a regular basis. The fa are incompetent morons who have coached players the wrong way for 30 years.

Aren't the fa an charge of all grass roots football in the county? Don't the coaches have to be fa approved? Doesn't the fa run football at every level in this country?
