Nothing surprises me anymore with FIFA. Panorama exposed Jack Warner about 8 years ago and it still goes on. My worry is why do these small nations have such power globally when they contribute so little to the world game?

Fifa seems exactly like the European parliament. Corrupt, untouchable and only interested in making money for themselves. Just hope that one day Blatter gets caught red handed and spends the rest of his miserable days in pokey.

THE SUNDAY TIMES Qatar's top football official, Mohamed bin Hammam, used a covert campaign of bribes to secure the 2022 World Cup for his country, it has been revealed.
The newspaper exposes the contents of millions of leaked documents that show Hammam used a secret slush fund to make payments totalling more than $5million to secure the votes of top world football officials.
The chairman of the Commons culture committee, John Whittingdale, as well as other top football chiefs, politicians and anti-corruption experts, have called for the 2022 World Cup vote to be rerrun and the tournament hosted in another country.

It's time for the fa to inform FIFA that they will not be taking part in the 2022 World Cup. If world football stands together on this issue FIFA will have to hold a re vote.

So what!. The whole world knew the decision was "bought". But the last 4 world cup hosting nation choices have been equally dubious. Sepp would prefer the World Cup to be held in Germany or Italy every time and never ever ever in England, that is clear. (And every 3rd or 4th time in or the Americas).
The whole world knows that Sepp Blatter and FIFA are corrupt. The good thing is that he is very old and cant continue his obstinate bigoted rule from beyond the grave.......Or can he..??? oommmmooowhaaaaaa!!!! ooommmoommmooowaaahhh!
but then we could have Platini replace him. geeez he is an even worse biggot.

After reading the times I believe that the 2022 world cup can't be played in Qatar. A re-vote will happen, there's just too much evidence that shows Bin Hammam paid for the world cup.

Who in his right mind would think that a country like Qatar can fairly convince anyone that they should host the World Cup? Of course they bought it. That's not the story. Now if there's evidence that they did, this is a story. Its up to the national associations, media and generally all those involved in football to put pressure on FIFA to withdraw the world cup from Qatar.

European country's informing FIFA they play any part in a corrupt 2022 World Cup would help. It will only take one country to boycott the World Cup and many would follow. Australia and USA would join us.

As a native of the Middle East and from Jordan, I can assure you all that what the Times is stating is 100% correct. There is no way a tiny country like Qatar smaller than the Merseyside would be able to host the World Cup. They have financial power and they paid off people in FIFA to get the vote. I hope they would get stripped of the 2022 WC and if it should hosted in the Middle East or North Africa, then Morocco is the most suitable place. I honestly think it should go to Australia or China, as the USA has already hosted before.
