Rafa has guaranteed trophies wherever he has been. This club was built on success not glorious failure.

I dont apologise for wanting to win the champions league or league title.

As Shanks said first is first, second is nowhere. Rodgers would do well to remember that.

We should get that fella Hodgson, he's won things.

I don't think we should replace Rodgers with rafa because

A) faz would internally combust

B) Rodgers is the better long term manager and in fact the best in the premiership. Winning trophies with him is just a matter of time

rafa would take a wrecking ball to our style of play. he would sign loads of crap players and we would be playing caveman football again. so no thanks, rafa has a track record of being extremely lucky and boring, it doesn't leave a legacy. rogers has given us our first title challenge in 24yrs ,from outside the top 4 too. ok we peed it away very depressingly but rafa was out of race by november , usually after playing fullbacks as wingers against the bottom team.

Robbie Fowler has a proven track record of scoring goals...it doesn't mean we should sign him up to partner Suarez.

I love Rafa but his time as LFC manager has passed. Move on...

OP, your right this forum is all about opinions but some carry greater weight than others because they are based on a balanced view of the game. Yours IMO is plain batty at this time and that is coming from someone who is much a fan of Raffa as anyone on here.

You have to remember this wasn't even a settled side at the start of the season and we finished second by not even the tally of a victory to a club who have spent like drunken sailors.

It took a slip in one game (precious little else) to deny us and your moaning and calling for Rogers's head.

Sure rafa has won trophies but he's been doing this a long time and with some of the top clubs in Europe. He could never win the league with us even though I think he had the squad to do it. He was bound to win at least some trophies throughout the years.

Rodgers has done the time and plied his trade. Everywhere he's been so far he's improved the team. He's only just coming into his own and will win trophies at liverpool for many years.

The man loves this club you can see that , that alone makes me want him over rafa. The fact he's gonna be a much better manager if he isn't already is just icing on the cake.
