Real men wear pink and eat Quiche.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Yeah good sensible post Kop, and your points are well made. We need a bit more mutual respect, balance and common sense from some posters on this forum. We can disagree with each other and that goes to make an interesting and lively forum, but we should be able to do it without foul mouthed and abusive language, there’s no need for that. Bloody Hippy.

Football will always be full of mindless, neanderthal, macho sh1theads!
First of all- Suarez did not ball in front of the cameras. He covered his face - in shame, in embarrassment, in anger??? Who knows - but he's allowed to have a human response. He's allowed to be passionate - that's who he is and how he plays.
Secondly - Many great players have shed tears or shown emotion on the pitch. Even hard-men like John Terry do it. To make an issue of it in Suarez's case is just pathetic.
Thirdly - The days of football being ruled by 'ard men, Oi punk and one dimensional geezers is long gone. You want the prem to be the best league in the world? Then you have to allow for the Latin temperament and other global differences.
Lastly, I'd rather see a player like Suarez show some spirit and some culpability for what was a dreadful collapse on the pitch. His defence have been hijacking all his and Studge's good work all season - so why can't he express disappointment or frustration. Would you rather he didn't care? Would you rather he were a soul-less oaf like Rooney? Agree, +1

Would you rather he were a soul-less oaf like Rooney? Exactly, do you want drilled robots or humans who actually have passion for the game. They were all disheartened as this result hinders our chance of winning the EPL. I feel like some football fans have a primitive mindset, especially highlighted by their attempt to seem masculine. I think you all need to put your handbags away on this one now girls. Indeed Lumbo. Like a pack of bloody wolves in here, all joining in together now showing their true colours (not pink) Oh where is the ignore button for buffoons when you need one? O.P. was a swipe at that vile foul Gallagher creature btw, which was the main point. I stand by my comments regarding falling to the floor crying, as much as I've detested the pre celebratory hysterical chanting of us winning something that we haven't yet, both on the terraces and in here. You choose not to like my comments, then total tough sh1t. i really couldn't give a flying one. Do carry on.

You know what, I'd have 1 player who works as hard and as passionately as Luis does, and then crys on the pitch when we let go a 3-0 lead and possibly the title after defying the odds all season, over a 100 'stiff upper lip' players being 'dignified' after such a horrible result.
Luis could easily be one of those players who earns the most at the club, draw that game and not be that arsed, but he isnt. He wears his heart on his sleeve, he's passionate and he fukking cares. He's worked his boll0cks off all season and is hurting just as much as us fans are. If that isnt in anyway endearing to you when considering he could easily have been doing this for another club and winning titles with half as much effort spent, then nothing will. As much as last summer dissappointed me with regards to him, as much as that result dissappointed me. We seen a Uruguayan player, with no real emotional ties to this club break down in tears over potentially losing this title. Even more so than our captain. He's won me back over with that, completely.
In him we seen exactly our own fans emotions reflected when he put his shirt over his face and was physically distraught. Even more so as he has, for a lot of this season, carried us on his back. Anyone who criticizes him for reacting like that, can fukk right off in my opinion. You can then go and criticise every liverpool fan for feeling exactly the same as he did when that final whistle blew. If the rest of the squad had shown even a quarter of the passion and quality that luis has this year then we'd have already had it in the fukking bag. With all his faults he is the next Gerrard regardless he shows more passion than most and his will to win at all cost is what makes champions. I'd rather have him representing me as a fan of this awesome club than the money hungry buttholes in the rich clubs!
