How long will this deflated feeling last if we don't win the league? I'm starting to get irritated with myself for believing we would win this thing.

its going to be a long summer .esp with the shitty World Cup.might look like a distraction but it wont be..deep [oops] wounds.

and im afraid will be having a dreadful transfer season as well.hope not

With the World Cup coming up there will be very little space left for signings. With Ayre and his slow behaviour that doesn't bode well for us.

I hope we have our targets already lined up, and that we for once also have the funds figured out. Not the usual stuff: "We value this player at £ 6m, but unfortunately the market value was £ 25m, so we had no chance in hell signing him up. But nevertheless we spent 14 days trying to negotiate the price". No more of that please!!

I'll be donning my tin helmet IF we don't win the PL, as I fear some are going to get pretty damned tetchy in here.

I'm taking the summer off all football, that includes the World Cup.

Reading through other teams forums and not one of them are hoping we win the league. pathetic really! They all want city to win

The thing is, we can't be too deflated. If someone had said we'd be in this position at the start of the season we'd have all laughed them out the building. Yes it will be gutting to loose it when we have come so close but we have to be proud of the progress we've made and of the players and Rodgers.

We move on like we do every season,we've all gained the experience of dealing with far worse seasons than this one.

Start of season we all wanted champions league back. We have achieved that with 3 games to go. Can't finish any less than 3rd.

I'll be gutted if we dont win the league especially as it was in touching distance. But on the other hand nobody expected us too and the brand of football this season in particular has been a breath of fresh air. Prospective is needed I think. It might take time but look how far we've come. Win or lose the league we can all be proud that we've over achieved and we kick on from here.

All true. Still can't swallow the disappointment of not winning it when it was ours to lose.
