We should do like the teams in the Italy & Spain - ie. We should offer the Everton players a bonus for a result on the weekend against city.

It's not match fixing 'cause we're not asking them to throw the match - quite the opposite, we want them to play their socks off.
Bit unsavory, but I could live with myself.

Everton still have an outside chance of CL qualification don’t they? If so they’re capable of doing us a favour.

Everton and Martinez won't want to lose two in a row.

Listening to the Everton fans they have no interest in winning or drawing the city game, they are well pleased with the spot they have now.
They will be supporting city that's for sure, anything it takes to stop us winning the league is what makes them happy.
They don't sound like they have any interest in wanting to fight for 4th and they don't seem bothered if they finish outside the Europa spots either.
They have some jaded players, some injured players and of course Gareth Barry who cant play. Will the players want different? It could be a very down beat atmosphere so I'm not hopeful but you never know I suppose.

Players always come to win I think, though motivation levels are not always the same. For the fans I think it's a win win situation.

Martinez sounds like he really wants to win this game, 75 points would be a new record for everton.

Wierdly enough I think I'd rather David Moyes in charge of Everton for this game.
