Not a portioning blame to anyone. Brendan has revolutionised us and I wont mention what stevie has done for us.
I just hope brendan has learned a harsh lesson. We only needed a point from chavs which clearly we couldve gotten as they came to kill the game.I just think an experienced gaffer would've taken a point and backed his players to see it out instead of going cavalier.
Granted we dominated them all over the park and only for a slip we may have gotten that point.
I just feel that maybe that tiny bit of nous was lacking and instead of us having to win our next 2 to be certain of that elusiveness title. Were now having to win those games to have any chance.
That said I doubt brendan will ever make that mistake again.

I would agree if we'd been caught on the break.

Although a point was all we needed I don't think It crossed my mind before the game to think oh lets play for a point.
We played to win, we couldn't and got caught out with a mistake, no one can account for that happening tbh, also to keep on winning was a tall order at the end of the day. We have been scared every game for a good few weeks now of our winning streak ending.

Never go into a game seeking a draw. I have so much respect for Rodgers because he stuck to his guns and played for the win.

I would definitely have played for a draw, even said it here, but was boring some apparently. Some people are too emotional while to win you need to also be calculating and cunning.
