Today I am still hurting from yesterdays result, undoubtedly. But I still get the feeling that something massive is going to happen which will decide this incredible season. One positive outcome from yesterday is that the pressure is now off us and is currently in the hands of City. Most of the neutrals and many of our own fans will no longer expect us to win the league - which will be a good thing for us when going into our last two games. I firmly believe with the pressure being off us and with us now being dubbed "the underdogs", that we will comfortably win our last two games. Just imagine the pressure these City players will be under for their final three games, anything can happen under such pressure. I can only hope that our supporters stay positive and keep up the tremendous support which has helped aid our team to success over the last few months. No matter what happens, we should all be proud of our club; they have massively overachieved this season and have left us with a feeling of excitement going into next season. Champions League football in the bag, more attractive signings and the prospect of a redeveloped Anfield, are just some of the things we have to look forward to in the near future. So cheer up and don't stop believing. We go again.

Good post Woolsey, I don't know the reasons why tbh but it was only last week that city were playing at their ground with a lot of empty seats around the ground, was it because their fans gave up already? anyway we /cant/wont/shouldn't give up on the title just yet if we give up the players may too. Keep believing and you never know.

i cant see them slipping up. its been gifted to them and basically they just have to win two games, even after all their slip ups and losing to us.

I like the optimism, but I am not convinced that we will comfortably win the next two games at all to be honest. I hope that, by the time we play palace, Liverpool have shaken off any feelings of injustice that were apparent in Rodgers post match interview. we need to forget any notion that gerrard 'deserves' this title (much as he does)- it doesn't work like that. we also need to shake off any feeling that we have a right to the title, and have been cheated by chelsea. Their tactics infuriated me yesterday, but it has happened and we have to move on. we should have seen it coming really and I think it is a lesson to us all. Rodgers and the players tactically, and perhaps some fans in believing we would beat them with ease following mourinho'c comments that he would play a weakened team etc. if we beat palace, I believe something will go for us and we will win it, but i think the big risk is we go into that game with palace thinking we have suffered an injustice and don't have our minds on the game. we need massive support for that game, and I just hope that between now and then, we get our heads together. we need to go into that game realising that we still have a chance IF we win that game. If we lose it, or even draw, I think it is curtains I am afraid. It has been an absolutely brilliant season whether we win the league or not, and we have a lot to be grateful for and feel optimistic about, but I just hope we can keep our heads together against palace. any kind of win will do, but we need to remember what Rodgers has said all season - we focus on the performance and the result comes from that.
