The maximum number of points that we need to be certain of the title at this stage, is 87. Anything lower and we are relying on 2 excellent clubs to slip up against rather poor opposition. We won't have a better chance than this....next season City will have spent another £100m and Pellegrini will be more settled in this country and with his players. Chelsea will probably have spent a similar amount and Jose will be reshaping his squad. Plus we will have considerably more games to play next year. We need to do 'whatever' it takes on sunday..... Given that they're already being investigated for breaching FFP, i'm not sure they'll get away with another massive spending spree without risking being banned from Europe or getting a transfer ban

Actually I predicted top 3, and after the abuse I suffered on here from some people, i think i have every right to say "I told you so!" Because I had faith in the team. I predicted 81-85 points if i remember correctly, and i think that's exactly where we will be.
All I ever said and I am saying it again, so many on here undervalue our squad and think we are not good enough. Well the squad has proven that to be wrong!
Also, after the bull i listened to about match going fans and non match going fans, I have every right to point out the fact that despite the fact I am an OOT, I showed more belief and passion for LFC than so many of the local fans. Just goes to show, it makes no difference where a fan is from.
Anyways, the point is, Chelsea has no weakened team, if anything, their biggest miss will be Ramires, but they will be fielding a very strong outfit, but so will we, we will be missing Hendo though and it will be a tight affair, but we can grab the win! Didn't you say Everton were likely to get relegated with Martinez as manager? Please....tell me more.

However i said from day one united had not the slightest chance in hell of top 4, yet alone retaining the title. i said we would surprise many and finish top 3. When Arsenal were top of the log and everyone was saying we had no chance because we lost 2-0to them and saying how our midfield was crap, i said we would finish above them and that they would battle it out with Everton and Southampton and spurs for 4th. I said we would win our first 3 games. I said spurs would really suffer with all the new players they got and that they would not be our competition. So overall, if if you look at my predictions and se i got 1 out of 5 or 6 wrong, i think that;s alright. HOWEVER, you missed the point COMPLETELY! The point is, the same people who gave me so much grief, who belittled Hendo, Allen etc. who bellitled the team as a whole bar Suarez and Sturridge, those people are now pretending like they never doubted the players at all. It's bullsh1t. Grow a pair and admit that you have been pleasantky surorised and you were mistaken. AND STOP BEING LIKE CHELSEA FANS supporting the players only when we are winning! Believe in the team and the players and the manager and the owners.
