He deserves another shot, we need depth. He is already our player, so makes sense to keep him around. Hopefully, he will prove himself.

As our owners are unlikely to splash doh enough to fill all our holes, I think it's a rather low risk strategy to take Borini back from loan and give him another chance with us next season.
Aspas on the other hand needs to go ASAP, and there we need a suitable replacement. Benteke, Lukaku, Remy or Jay Rodriguez maybe?

nah i'd move borini on asap with aspas. he is never a liverpool quality player. We should be stepping it up a notch now with the champs league. swansea have a thing for aspas so swaps plus cash for bony. that be 3 top quality forwards , i think that be enough as we play with 1 up there sometimes , especially as BR is most likely going to sign wingers and AM players.

I think priorities lie else where. We take Borini back, send Aspas out on loan and concentrate on strengthening the back 4. If reports are to be believed, Rafa is after Agger and regardless I think we'll be looking for a CB as a main target.

Don't know much about Mangala tbh, but one things sure it'll be a lot easier attracting players this time round.

if Borini had someone like Coutinho in that sunderland team threading him through balls, he would have scored a lot more goals. As it stands he's pretty much holding the team on his back with his work rate and his extra touch of quality within a largely championship quality team. I'm sorry mate, but this is complete and utter rubbish. Have you seen Sunderland play this season at all?? He's had a handful of games where his 'extra touch of quality' has actually shone through above the rest of the team, but you clearly haven't seen many games if you think he's been holding anything on his back. He's scored a few good goals and had a below average season in a well below average side. I'd take him back for a season just to see if he can have any impact. 1 more chance as he has shown he can at least belt a ball at quite a lick. That and we don't have the money to go gun ho with every member of our subs bench. But lets be honest realistic and knowledgeable about what the lads actually done this year.

To be fair to the guy we should give him a chance. At least injury free he would be a viable sub whereas Aspas does not get used at all even when we are dominating.

to be fair then we should sell him as he is only ever going to be a sub. he has done well for himself up north and has a bit of fight in him that did seem there when he was with us. But still, he is slighty above average player, put it this way if sunderland stay up they will be looking to buy a proper striker
