The only way for them is to rebuild, slow and solid. For that, they'd need someone like Martinez, but fortunately they are too stupid to see that.

.
exactly my thoughts

I think they'll look outside England with the possible exception of Mourinho but he'd be "little horse" imo compared to some of the other candidates

because he didn't achieve his target of top 4, apparently he only gets one years severance pay so around 4-5 mil. Possibly why they waited until mathematically certain before sacking him

1 year salary due to not qualifying for the champs league. This decision was made months ago. Just waiting for the mathematics to prove they are out of the running.

Cheap option by Glaziers as they are no better than hicks and Gillete. A fact I do not celebrate either as having been there not so long ago. Hodgson and those clowns are still very much in my mind and will never laugh at any others club misfortune again - even united.

I definitely would not like Jose to go there as he is a winner despite being a complete [oops]. Look at where Chelsea were last season and where they are this season, this is the last manager I would like to see there and happy that this is not going to happen. United with the biggest revenue base of the EPL can afford to spend more than any other club and apparently they will have 150-200m to spend next summer. Any top manager will get them back to at least top 4 quickly.
