van gaal is the hot fav too and whisper it but lets hope so, he is not going to improve them enough. maybe they get back in top 4 ,but he is 62 and has always been a notch down from the really top blokes in the game

I think just maybe that some (if not a lot) of Man U darlings are in for a shock if they think the Glaziers are going to start spending like City and Chelsea.

When Moyes was appointed I think the plan was more along the lines/route we have taken. Since then they have had to panic buy at way over the odds with a game plan that wasn't meant to be the game plan. Now they are in complete no man's land.

Rogers has already done enough to have changed the game. If we win the title that weight will be greater, but he has still changed it for good in regards value and funding.

As business men the Glaziers would be mad to throw £200 million at it (if what is banded about is true) with a replacement however capable in his 60's and the best young managers quite happy in jobs already.

They should find the nearest Sheikh they can and get out.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

They will be kidding themselves if they think there's an easy way out of the mess they find themselves in. No manager has the magic wand that will automatically bring back success and if they think that just by getting some big name -such as Van Gaal- they've done it, then they're in for a big shock. The only way for them is to rebuild, slow and solid. For that, they'd need someone like Martinez, but fortunately they are too stupid to see that.
