it would be worse than us finishing 4th. if we got 4th everyone would say job well done, we are building. but to have it in your hands and let it slip suggests we have a "bottle" element in the squad. It will definitely not be worse than finishing 4th, that's ridiculous. Yes we all want to win it but with a team like ours, 3rd is already an acheivemnt, it is all in our hands but our midfeild is threadbare because one player got a red card. It's not about bottle but players we don't have. Lucas needs to become a Yaya Toure, SG needs to get 5 years younger and Allen become Xavi for us to win it, and may they will.

When we first started this season, we say CL qualification is the target but now we are in this position, we must not blow it.
This is the best chance to win the title and everyone knows that!!

People forget that we don't have the squad of others so to finish in the top three is a massive achievement.

Having come this close we're bound to be nervous and having all kinds of negative thoughts as to how we might blow our chance coz its been such a long long wait, but to put things into perspective, let's put ourselves in our opponents' shoes: How much hope would you have if you were a Chelsea fan, five points behind and having to play a game at your main rival's ground, sandwiched in between two Champions League semifinal games, or indeed a City fan, having to win ALL of your remaining games while hoping for a slip up from your main rival? This title is far from being decided yet, but if you look at the situation with cold, calculating eyes,then you'll easily see that we are in a FAR better situation than our two rivals.

Like I said in another thread. We're not going to get any favours, Its up to us and us alone. Lets concentrate on our own house and forget about what everyone else is doing. We beat Chelsea, then concentrate on Palace, then Newcastle. One game at a time. We win our games, no body can touch us and no one can take anything away from us, and we'll have truly deserved it. Considering the pidgeon is such a commonplace sight and creature, there does seem to be a bit'of a shortage of them around here.
