I'll admit Liverpool have played well this season, though in all honesty they've had an easier run than previous seasons - not only have they not been in Europe (AKA the Pardew excuse), the other big clubs have all either been in transition or on the decline, mainly the former.
Of course the Scousers will want to hold a minutes silence when they win, followed by a knighthood for Steeeeeevie Geeeeeeeee and then most likely an inquest in to why they haven't won the league for the past twenty odd years (which MUST have been the fault of some corrupt police officials or something).

congrats to martyrpool , 7 days rest and as fresh as a daisy , and they still have to hang on at the end , chelsea will have champs league semi final this week ,and they will rest players, so they yet again they have an advantage , the only reason the martyrs are going to win this league is because they have played 15 games less , than us and chelsea . The failure of the media to even acknowledge this , during the martyr love-in , is predictable , at least we know they wont be in contention next season for the premiership , with their 15 man squad , they will be one season wonders.

Such bitterness coming out the woodwork towards Liverpool (or whoevers doing well). Seems very personal. Maybe it's the entitled plastic fans of Chelsea and City? I'm sure there's similar in the Utd camp, but they seem more respectful to us as close rivals.
Funny though, I've always felt the media were Utd-bias.
