Why is there no Premier League football on Friday nights? Surely there is a huge market for it. There are mod-week games so why not Friday night?

would be better than sundays for me.

Actually saw a article in the mirror yesterday were cech was moaning about the premiership not having friday games saying that a lot of foreign leagues use friday games to provide teams in the CL a rest before midweek european matches to try and keep the rankings up so they keep 4 places in the CL not a bad idea in my opinion.

They've had it in the Bundesliga for some time now. One game each Friday.

It's also a more convenient time for supporters too. A game in the evening, no work the next day. I'm all for it.

The reason we have games in a Saturday Sunday and Monday at the times we have them is so they don't clash with other European league games. Tv rights and all that.

Gets my vote, all day long.
hate Sunday matches, as invariably I have other pursuits interests and hobbies to perform and follow.
Completely bolloxes the day up for me one way or the other.


This coming Sunday, I'm not going to be able to listen to THE match....AGAIN!!!
