Carroll will have a massive point to prove, he'll throw himself around a lot elbows flying in every direction.

I'm more nervous about this game than I was for the Spurs match. I just know Carroll will go balls to the wall. I can see this being the game we slip up against. I hope to God I'm wrong but I think it will be 2-2.

Don’t think they can outscore us, and if Carroll is anything like he was for us I can see another clean sheet there! Think we’ll put 3 or 4 past them.

It is the second balls we need to be careful cause Nolan is a master of reading them. And he knows how to find the net.

Sahko and Skrtel need to be real tight but also clever.

I can see Gerard doing some tackling in this game. He will need to be real smart about it.

They have been almost crap this season except getting the odd result every now and then, I think they did beat Chelsea. However, they are not playing for anything anymore, so if we show more will, we should win. Their game is also predictable with a very long ball direct approach, so we should be ready for it. Knowing the problem is more than 50% into solving it. I am not too worried.

They went on a 4 game winning streak in February so I wouldn't take them completely for granted but on paper we should beat them well

If ever we don't beat them it would be because of us, ie, we haven't played (lived up) to our own standard. Simple. I am not worried.

We gotta stop the supply line. We can take him on the ground but very few defenders stop him in the air. He is a real handful.

Massive physical battle hence I think sakho might be better suited.

Agree, by the looks of it Sakho seems better suited to deal with Caroll, however, we do not know why rusty he would be after such a long period injured. Quite amazing though why people are so worried about one of our biggest rejects who BR didn't even think was good enough for our bench and who has been termed donkey/useless by a number of posters here. Don't think BR is at all worried about Caroll. If he thought any good of Caroll he would have kept him at least for half a season.
