Ninja Turtle said it ages ago. Really lumba? has he withdrawn it yet? I would never joke about these things Anne.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

I, no, the league table, says Rodgers has been extremely successful so far. Some people seem to have very short memories and forget that our big worry only six months ago was the possibility of us languishing in midtable mediocrity forever and ever. Today, most of us are worried that we might finish fourth rather than third or better. That says it all.

I think most of us said we would finish 5th though we had a good chance of doing better because of the change in management at City, Chelsea and United. There was one more change at Spurs who we can say was/is in a bit of crisis. Right now we are second in the league and if we finish there or better it would be a huge achievement, 4th will be as we could have expected especially with United falling over. Third will be a good achievement anf 5th bad. This is how I see it.

Points total is the only real indicator of progress, I thought we would get round the 70 mark any more than that and I will see it as Rodgers being some sort of witch.

Even if we don’t get that 70 points box, I think we could say Rodgers is some witch to have us where we are now, given that the club failed to support him by strengthening the squad in the January window! So far that failure hasn’t come back to bite us, and with a bit of luck it won’t. But still it was an unforgivable failure considering what was and is at stake.

i think its fair to say the bigger players we've been turned down by (and the ones that haven't come off) would have improved the first 11:
Willian Diego Costa Henrikh Mkhitaryan Christian Eriksen Yevhen Konoplyanka
From that list of names i think its fair to say we're looking at the right players to improve the squad. So i definitely have faith in rodgers.
I just think at this point in time i'd rather see us spend big on each position or go for more proven quality than trying to sign young players like luis alberto and unproven talent like aspas.
we could of quite easily have kept suso as back up for the season and saved the cash on aspas and spent bigger on a more proven striker.

A few other players we missed out on,
Clint Dempsey Gylfi Sigurdsson
I'm not having a go. We can't be right all the time. But generally speaking, the scouting department is doing alright. Who knows, after this campaign & the world cup - we may be spoiled for choice.

Don't think we were interested with Christian Eriksen, were we?
