The best we could do for I striker (I think anyway) would be someone like Remy. Relatively cheap, decent goalscorer, and we'd be a significant step up enough that he might be ok on the bench.
Other than that, I'd like to see more of Aspas and Borini. Though Borini might have a chance, I can't see Aspas making it, he will be gone in the summer. I don't even think he was bought as a outright striker, but somebody who could play anywhere in the 4 attacking positions. He hasn't been good anywhere and much worse than Downing. To give us some balance, a left footed attacking player would have been handy as Sturridge prefers to play in the middle, but hasn't worked out.

I won't cry if we sell him, but I think Aspas hasn't really had much chance to show his worth. If we do sell him, I think we should give Danny the number 9 shirt though.

Thats rotating them far too much imo. Play our best 2 and only when they need resting or cup games etc do the other striker really come into play

Three strikers playing two out of three games means they sit out 1 in three is that not correct Do you think either Suarez or Sturridge would wish to be on the bench when they are fit?

the top 2 strikers play in the CL. I only mentioned the cup games that the likes of Borini should get a run out.
We have more areas of need in the first XI than striker and that is where I would prefer to see money spent and leave maybe 10mil plus Aspas transfer fee for a decent backup
I am saying we get a good backup striker. Someone mentioned Remy and he would be excellent. He's relatively cheap and is proven in the league.
Try not to twist words to suit your own point.

So we have a decent back up for when they need resting but the idea of rotating for rotatings sake makes no sense.
Buying the likes of Remy and a winger gives us plenty of options up front where we generally play 1 through the middle and 2 out wide.
Suarez, Sturride, Remy and Borini up front
Sterling, Coutinho, Suso, Konoplyanka out wide as well as having the option of playing the front men out wide as well
