joke of the season...Rafa is a suitable man to win at the highest level...

Rafa has won trophies at the highest level.

yes joe...we fooking need a gutsy man for the manager post...

Rafa is not the offensive type of manager, but if he is pushed to far he does loose his temper.

Bottom line for me, on this thread is "Kuyt,Lucas,Rafa,Insua" are not the only problems we have, for if we replace them, there still no guarantee we be better off.

It is clear we struggle when fernado isnt on form, we battle with that kid lucas, so lest buy players of the same calibre as fernando for those positions, then we can see if it makes a diff.

Just when we thought kelly could do a job for us, he got injured, then we though johnson is on his way, he got injured.

I really am fed up with his late subs and choice of players, but thats not the reason we are in the state we are in. thats how i feel

Rafa's biggest problem is he refuses to acknowledge his mistakes. I don't see a quality manager wanting to come to Anfield with the obvious lack of funds to bring in choice players.
How many David Moyes type characters can you get?

look most of say you want rafa out ,thats fine thats your opinion but to then go on and say "lets try a manager with potential" who have not won major trophies is stupid.... if this is the right thing to do then 18 months ago paul ince would be in line for a top job and do well..that didnt work did it.. and to think jose or hiddink would come to us with no finances and a shambles of a boardroom, your living in a different world... they say its horses for courses which means if you want to be a top team you need a top and well proven manager.

don't be a hater. take the banter

i think rafa has proved over 6 years that he doesn't have what it take to deliver the league. and as wakka said, pep took over barca without any experience at all. one can argue they had a much better team but who's to say a different manager can't take this squad further. we just witnessed the football of today and the future (arsenal-barca game) but we're stuck with a manager who's got the mentality of a italian manager in the 80's and 90's...
