I hope people have checked their final fixtures. The only big games they have are us and city.

If they have a fit forward line containing RVP, Rooney, Mata... then they're capable of winning any game. If they have Howard Webb available for their big games then that'll help them too.

It shouldn't happen and yes it's ours to lose, but that doesn't mean they're out of it. We'll have a better picture after we play them.

I will be throwing my cap in the air come the end of the season if we are in the top 4.
based on our record for the last 5 years and the fact that we are half way trough this season ..... I am hopeful but not confident.
if we can continue to over-achieve then we have a chance. Half a season count's for nowt.
and before the champions league was created, finishing anything but first int the league meant nowt.
dig it?

Dont dig it because we aren't overachieving. We are where we are because we have earned that position throughout the season. Nothing to do with over or underachieving.

We need to concentrate on our own games and not worry about who may or may not catch us.

With a third of the season still to go and hard games against City, Chelsea, United and Spurs as well as a number of games against relegation fighting teams I wouldn't writed anyone from Everton up off tbh.

If we continue to pick up 2 points per game as we've done all season, United would have to win every single game and then they'd only beat us by 1 point. Given that united have only average 1.66 points per game so far, i'm not particularly worried about them suddenly doubling that. Only chance they have is if we collapse

If we win today, I think it would be only Spurs left for top 4.

We don't need to collapse to let them back in. It only takes a stutter. People seem to ignore the fact that although teams have played the same number of games, they've played different opposition. Of our last 12 games, 4 are against rivals above or around us. That's a high proportion.

I still see Spurs as pretenders to the throne!

Pete: Berg, I'm just not cut out to be a good person.
Berg: I know. That's why the Lord gave us good looks.
