yea. we'll never get both villa and silva, certainly not them both plus a couple of other ones...

there's some great players out there that would be cheaper options, arda turan and krasic is some of them. it's a shame our scouting department has been so incompetent over the years. we should have gone for ozil last summer, the lad is fantastic but will probably cost over £25m the coming summer when clubs such as city will get involved.

yea people seem to believe we have to splash 20-25M on a couple of new players. what we actually need to do is to bring in some real footballers. you can get great ones for 10-15M...it's all about the scouting department and the job they're doing. unfortunately ours is total crap.

i remember when we bought dossena from udinese. we could have got vargas for the same price but we got dossena instead. one is useless, the other is one of serie a's best left backs..

I would be worried about anyone we buy if its Rafa doing the buying. Put some of the money to the best use we can this summer and pay him off. Then get someone in who can get the good players we have playing again and then get a couple of others to improve us. Easy!
