Bad business by Rafa IMO.

How many decent left wingers can you buy for 6m quid in today's market?

If Rafa had handled riera well, he would still be a useful 1st team member of the squad today.

I remember when riera first joined us, he brought much balance to the side with his runs down the left. The whole team clicked well at that time. Now he's but a shadow of his old self.

One can always blame riera for not knuckling down to fight for his place. But is Rafa free from all admonition in his management of his players?

Another player brought in and sold for a loss, the only think we are good at losing money.

yeah rafa is not of this world.he is above all these questions...knows well to appear infront of the camera and repeat a fooking lesson he learnt..gross :S

Sad end to his career at LFC, and another £2M loss.
When he played well,he was really good.

Obviously far too much on his mind at other times, seemingly his unhappiness at the way he was being treated by Benitez.

I'm starting to become seriously worried about these stories of unrest from within.

I wonder who would stay if Rafa said all those that don't like the way i do things can leave

just wondering how many players rafa has sold at a loss, it must be alot by the way people here are talking,
i taught it was only a few and that most were sold at a profit but may be i am wrong
i always liked reira, last season he played very well and gave us great balance, but a player cannot come out and make comments like that and expect to get away with it,

No I agree no way back from that. Any manager would do same.

How ever a player has been treated he should be proffesional in they way he deals with it which Riera wasn't. If I slated my boss on national radio i'd be sacked too.

Its a bit of a shame though as I didn't mind him as a player. Looked a bit off his game the last few times he played though.

It's been denied. Asking price not met as yet.
