Hmmm well spotted Suso,my only guess is as they were in the Sooty Show (SS),together with Sue.. Sweep and Sue (SS) it can only point to the fact that these puppets are Nazis.

I'd even goes as far to say that Sweep is probably responsible for cutting Sootys tongue out for being Gay.
