Everyone crying out for a better transfer window in the summer is dreaming because of the following:
1. World Cup will be on and no player will move before as they will be too busy concentrating on the World Cup than club football therefore no early signings. 2. Clubs don't like to buy players generally early in the summer if a tournament is on in case players get injured. 3. After the World Cup players will then go on holiday for a couple of weeks and usually return just before the season starts. 4. This would leave transfer to be done last minute and we all know how successful Liverpool are at that 5. Any good player if plays well at the World Cup will double their value therefore goes against FSG player profitability idea.
Sorry to put a further downer on a transfer window.
Fsg will probably sign a player at the start of the summer, let him have a great World Cup where his value will rocket, then sell at the end of the summer for profit.
