In my opinion and going on recent years, 72/73 points should be enough to get top 4. To that end, we need 26/27 points from our remaining 15 games.

We need to get wins at home against Swansea, Sunderland and Newcastle (who will have very little to play for). 9 points a must

Away wins at WBA, Fulham, Norwich, Cardiff, West Ham and Crystal Palace are all attainable. 12-15 points to aim for at a minimum

That leaves tough home games against City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs. Spurs is the one we really need to aim to win as its a proper 6 pointer. 4 points min with a win against Spurs, 6 if we don't

Tough away games are against United and Southampton. 2 points min

I think there will be bumps in the road along the way but it looks like we follow all our tough games with winnable games. We just need to ensure that any losses are followed up with a win

Good post Maxi, There’s no doubt we have an advantage with our games against the top teams being at home, except for Utd. However none of those games will be easy, and who can predict?
72/73 points being enough, will depend on how Spurs, United and Everton perform and they have strengthened, so who knows? I would venture to say though, if we sign a decent player as is suggested by Rodgers, we can make it, however if we don’t sign some quality, I still have my doubts, hope they prove me wrong.

the 72 points is picked on previous years points totals. I think +/- 2 points will be about the mark needed.

United can't afford too many slip ups between now and the end of the season to get to 72 points although I would worry about nerves getting the best of us if they creep to within 2/3 points with a few games to go.

I think Everton will fall off the chase in the end but hopefully will take some points off the others.

Spurs are the real unknown. Tonight will be a good marker as they have had a good run of teams to play since Sherwood took over. Winning at United was impressive but United were also short players and in poor form. They play very, very attacking football and I can see them beating a lot of the weaker teams in a similar manner to ourselves

I think its crucial that we play united where we are at least 3 points ahead of them. We have 4 winnable games leading up to Old Trafford and need to get 9/10 points from them

Think you be correct i see man u as major threat for 4th they are capable of putting a long run together and 6 points aint massive when theres 45 points left to play for.
