where do you get your info for who comprises the committee?

Being friends with someone doesn't mean that you have "worked for years with them"?

I think the only important point here is, BR is not being backed in transfer window. I don't think there's any dispute about that. Whether it's ayre or more likely fsg telling ayre is maybe debatable. Either way it's difficult to remain optimistic imo

It's freely available, perhaps you should do some research instead of taking everything at face value.

Who are you talking about when you say that? Pascoe who has worked with Rodgers for 4 years now, Driscoll who has worked with Rodgers at Chelsea and then Swansea, Davies has worked with Rodgers for 4 years, or Hunter who played at Reading whilst Rodgers was a coach there, both fellow N.Irish Men, both great mates and Fallows who Rodgers knows very well and got along with before he joined here.

Do you honestly think Rodgers is going against these people and is the sole voice of Liverpool and leading a tirade against our terrible owners who have given him everything he wants from not having a DoF, hiring his mates, giving him the players he wanted when he arrived, leaving him to it and not breathing down his neck, allowing him to spend 100m etc.

Hunter is mentioned is he not? Pascoe is mentioned, Edwards was brought in by Comolli and as far as I'm aware isn't at the club any more, Driscoll and Davies are heads of performance and Analysis. Carry on living in your rose tinted, imaginary world.

Hunter was a player, not in his current role.

Edwards is still at the club in his role as defined in the committee from 8 months ago.

I am merely pointing out your inaccuracies in defining the transfer committee

Hunter and Rodgers worked together at Reading for a number of years, they knew each other very well. Rodgers has spoken about his good friendship with him a number of times. That was the point I was making, he's not going to go against his mates.

There's no mention of Edwards on any official document, the only names mentioned are Driscoll and Davies who are heads of Performance and Analysis, which is apparently Edwards role according to a 2 year old document, Edwards hasn't been mentioned since his appointment by Comolli; who along with just about all senior staff were sacked.

The Committee is -

Rodgers
Pascoe - Assistant - Ex Swansea
Driscoll & Davies - Performance analysts - Ex-Swansea
Hunter - Scout - Very good friends with Rodgers, who he's known for years
Fallows - Head of recruitment - Ex-Man City - Also good friends with Rodgers prior to coming here.
Ayre - in charge of signing the players up.

So whats the problem with him working with people he knows and has worked with before? Every manager does the same. Not sure what you're getting at? Are they not good enough?
