can anyone tell me what pellgrinos role at liverpool is ive never seen him do anything and why do rafa an sammy when there at a game spend the entire time filling crosswords in because they cant be taking notes because they cant see more than 20 mins of any game i never see wenger or fergie scribling through a footy match does anyone no why because it makes me want to ban all writing material at liverpool it pisses me off

Most of his note taking takes place in first half so he can make adjustments at half time.It seems to have become a modern trend. Mouninho does it, Pat Rice does it for Arses and Rafa does it because he's obsessive about details. Always looking to make players and team better. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Pelligrino is very involved with the defenders in training and regularly works solely with back 4.

im glad you told me i thought they were reading beano but all three makes notes and lets be honest his subs very rarley make an impact because he has no plan b

taking notes is a good idea,im pretty sure united have a statistician who does it for them,im not convinced about pelligrino he doesn't fill me with confidence.
