It’s a bit harsh to put Coutinho 3rd in that list. Ok he’s not been at his best since the injury, and his shooting composure is way off at present. But he’s still young and opponents are sticking closer to him this season, so he needs to get used to that, as it doesn’t happen to that extent in the league he was used to.
Still he’s energetic, gets on the ball a lot and puts himself about, that creates space for the front players, and he doesn’t get much credit for that in that analysis. The list is not about the worst players but those who have disappointed the most. After last season's performance, I think most of us expected a better Coutinho than what we have seen. That said, I think it is also normal to struggle in his second season as most managers would have known his qualities and therefore would have a plan to counter.

Have to agree that his season so far has been "disappointing", but the injury earlier in the year has affected his performances and due to our lack of depth I believe was rushed back to soon. Being played out of position most of the time has not helped. Remember last year when he arrived we were not playing well and his fresh legs and determination made him standout. Kid has the quality, he will come back to form soon.

How can you put Jovetic on that list when he has been out with injury 99 percent of the season?
Cazorla has been crap this season, RVP, the rest of the united squad bar De Gea, Rooney and Wellbeck. The entire spurs squad....

Fellaini, Van Persie, Jelavic, Ben Arfa, Papisse Cisse all deserve to be on that list before Phil. I would have added four goal Torres to the list if we'd expected anything better of him.
