I hear that a Martian consortium is putting together an impressive bid to hold a world cup on their home planet.
Apparently the renumeration offered to FIFA delegates beats any offer from the Arab/Gulf nations. as any educated human would know, it is also quite hot on mars. And the atmosphere is toxic to humans, but as i understand, the martian culture permits consumption of alcohol and women behaving as if they were human in public.
I have heard from a reliable source that FIFA have endorsed any bid from the martians for any upcoming world cup.
I support the Martian world cup bid because Mars is RED.
