not backing him not giving a peno at MUFC , but webb's last two massive games chelsea v liverpool he missed at least one red card etoo on henderson , a cast iron peno on suarez plus a few more and tonight loris's tackle was a foul , this man webb is living on a former reputation of a few years ago , its costing teams big time and i agree with golum with this he is a disgrace , even though its funny when MUFC getting F-All.

Refereeing has been very poor overall this year faz.

I agree its funny when it happens to MUFC but we have suffered more than once at his hands.

what about when Sterling got taken out by the defender after he missed the chance when Suarez put him through with the header? I didn't see much difference that and the spurs keeps challenge on young... yet no one even discussed a possible penalty for Sterling.

Tell you what, some of the decisions lately & not just Howard Webb's have been absolutely disgusting. The incompetence of some refs & linesmen is laughable at times & it just makes the FA look stupid every time they come out and defend them, handing out fines left right & centre whenever a manager is frustrated enough to comment on it.

You only need to look at the World Cup final to see that Webb is a sh1t ref!

All reffing has been poor this year and not just for us.

However, diving little [oops] like Young don't deserve to get decisions. They're the players making it very difficult for refs to know what's real or not.

And to top it off, it's great to see grounds keeper Willey showing the strain with their worst home record in half a century!

It's a little known fact, this:

Howard Webb has transferred from Man United to Chelsea ... for an undisclosed sum.
Rumor has it that the transfer fee is a world-record.

Spot on. I have always been at a loss as to why he is so highly rated. I think because he is big and imposing and handles himself with such confidence then some people have developed a perception he is a great ref. While all ref's make mistakes, I have never seen a ref consistently get so many decisions wrong while standing right in front of the incident with a completely unobstructed view. I think it is embarrassing that he still seems to be the FA's golden boy.
