So tell me faz do you think we will be in the Top 4 come the end of the season?
Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd, Everton/Spurs, Liverpool/Newcastle. We could potentially be 8th, even 9th or 10th, if Swansea or Southampton regain their form. It's not looking great. We could also still be relegated. What's your point?

i just said it wasnt over, in the post you quoted. if you are not going to read then we are done with this conversation.
i was informed of how happy i was supposed to be that we were top of the league and how i was a fool for having anything negative to say, but i had a strong suspicion, based on our performances and Br's past patterns that it was about to come crumbling down and it only took two games. im not making this up for he good of my health, i can see significant flaws and it is going to haunt us on the way to game 38 and i feel there's going to be a lot of tears and disappointment.
It came tumbling down against the best two squads in the country who are Aldo the richest and have players on their benches that would all get in our first eleven. Now if the two games were Sunderland and West Ham I could kind if agree with you. I think a lot of us are frustrated, we probably deserved something at City and we might have sneaked a point at Chelsea yet came away with nothing. Results from those games would have set us up perfectly for the rest of the season. Now we have to get back into winning ways starting with Hull on Wednesday, if we can restore belief then nothing is impossible. But I think it is vitally important that we get at least one quality ready made first team player in the January window.

thats not good enough..no champs league no suarez. with him gone,& gerrard nearing the end it be like starting all over again. just signed a big contract hasnt he , if he goes the club gets 100 million . No, the club gets what someone is prepared to pay for him. At last check that was around 40m. ok 40 million then , but in the real world his contract is worth 100 million , but i suppose that fact doesnt matter does it .

He's worth what he's worth. His contract isn't worth 100 million either. That would mean he's on 500k per month, which he isn't.

It just seems that all perspective has gone. It's quite pathetic.

Yeah agreed Shaggydog, I’m not as dissapointed as some on here, losing to those two on their ground after giving a good account of ourselves, in both games, isn’t the end of the world. As you say what’s important now is that we pick ourselves up and take 3 points from Hull on wednesday, then we can get back to winning ways again. However as you also said there, it’s most important that we sign some PL ready quality player/s in January. No more of these cheapie hopefuls. Time for FSG to invest, else a heaven sent opportunity in this season will be missed, and may not return for many a season to come.

In fact I am more disappointed having lost top 4 position to Everton with a new manager despite having the best start of the season for ages. It came tumbling down against the best two squads in the country who are Aldo the richest and have players on their benches that would all get in our first eleven. Now if the two games were Sunderland and West Ham I could kind if agree with you. [quote=TheKopProphet]It's sad to see people actually will and then cheer the 'false dawns'... 5-0 up at Spurs and they still were complaining. We got 3 points from our last 3 away games at Spurs, Chavs and City. Anyone would have taken that....
OK as someone else suggested, how many of us would have taked 0 points from Southampton and Hull
