false dawn really , so in the top 4 mix and being in the top 4 and top of the league many times this season until today isnt enough of very decent progress , i think its not a false dawn is liverpool improving from the dalglish era of waste and the 7th place and squad benitez left liverpool with How exactly have we improved since Kenny was in charge? Rodgers has squandered just as much money as Kenny, so I'm not sure how you can call him out for that but not Rodgers. I don't know how you can call Rafa out for leaving us with a top 4 squad, when Rodgers has killed off all depth we had and left us completely threadbare to the point when 1 injury can kill off matches for us, we're not even a team anyway, we are Suarez fc, if he gets shut out in games we end up either losing or drawing. Without Suarez, Rodgers would have been sacked a long long time ago. He is simply papering over the giant cracks we have. nice to hear from you must be liverpool have lost a game or two , We have lost 2 in a row actually or are we not allow to mention that?

so bring back dalglish then vish ? , well i forgot maybe you do when you talk about charlie adam being a good player , maybe you might like carroll up front instead of sturridge and suarez maybe ? Fact is we have improved by 2 points despite the Carolls and Adams, so roll on I say, we don't need to buy anybody just as it was 2 years back. oh ok so suarez and sturridge and coutinho not good enough for you then , the answer was carroll and adam and downing , oh ok mate . Indeed, we have improved by 2 points after having spent 60m or more.

oh ok so suarez and sturridge and coutinho not good enough for you then , the answer was carroll and adam and downing , oh ok mate . Kenny had lined up Diame to join us on a free, Sturridge had been on the cards since Hodgson was in charge, FSG have already said they were waiting for his value to drop before making an offer, hence why we waited until Jan, rather than the Summer. Kenny was also said to be in talks with Bent and had already given plenty of chances to youth players and preparing for the future. Rodgers didn't need to sign as many players as he did or in the positions we did. Every man and their dog knew we only needed a Clinical Finisher, a DM and a new winger. Not a handful of foreign flops.

You can't judge football by snapshots statistics the trend matters and overall confidence and other intangibles
The team was in freefall after jan and dispite getting to two cup finals it was clear Werner and Henry had made up their mind about dalglish.
There are many imponderables and many thinks we don't see behind closed doors. Whether FSG provide decent funding to Brendan might be enlightening as it coud prove their confidence or otherwise in him.
But certainly from my perspective the Rodgers era is a vast improvement from that dark age and not just on results.
