comes to an end. Welcome back to earth.
let me explain my views on Rodgers once again and just clarify my position....once again. Firstly, i have always and will always support liverpool and always want them to win and succeed. always. in fact i would say i want success more than the apologists around here.
As for the BR pattern, its simple. No expectation on the club due to some poor results; we get our act together and follow that with some really impressive football over average to good opposition, the expectation is raised and the pressure comes on, and then we bottle it, and we are back to square one.
Rodgers cannot mentally compete at this level. He hasnt got the character or personality. Thats his team out there, with his signings, and thats his bench, with his signings. The pattern will continue and we will forever be in the europa league or worse. I want us at the top, i want a real manager, i want liverpool to be the best team in the world.
It' simply my opinion. the fact that it provokes abuse, name calling, trolling, etc only suggests that there is an element of truth in what im saying that certain people wont allow themselves to consider.

I'm disappointed to be down to fifth. However I don't think losing to City and Chelsea away affects anything in terms of expectation (at least not for me). I though we might have got 1 point from those two games, but they were always going to be tough, and I thought we done well and were unlucky:
City game: played very well and deserved a point atleast, would have had it aswell, and may even have taken all 3 but for a howler by Migs and Sterling.
Chelsea game: Yes we were outplayed. Chelsea put in a great performance today and deserved to beat us. However, they should have been playing with 10 men for the last 10 minutes, and we should have had a penalty.
So with a bit more luck we could have taken 4 points from games we expected to lose.
So I don't think its been a 'false dawn' as many weren't expecting to beat those two teams. Whats important now is that we bounce back against Hull, and put another run of wins together. It'll also be important to strengthen in January, then I think we'll be in with a very good chance at top 4

I think this falls on the owners flames, if we'd gotten mihkitarin, costa, willian. Would we have brought on smith. I think rogers & fsg have us nearly there but it needs q big Jan....

I have said this consistently we don't have the resources we are actually doing pretty well given the threadbare squad and cheap as chips transfer policy which does not help when some of the meagre transfer budget is wasted.

The only thing I MIGHT not agree with you is BR responsibility on having players like Aspas, Alberto and Ilori when we had other priorities. If it is his decision then I would completely agree with you.
