Was very proud of the Reds last night-we are scoring for fun these days and it's making watching the ganes more enjoyable.
We have scored 4 goals against all the top teams this season-long may it continue.

We out played them in the first half and the ref was on their side in the 2nd half-free kicks galore. We definitely gave them a big scare.

It was a great game last night. I think the turning point was their first goal but what a spirit the team have now. They kept going to the bitter end. Even though we didnt win, this set down a marker for all teams that play us now in the Prem. They will know after last night that we will attack them for 90+ minutes and will never give in.

Well done lads and keep it up and I am certain we will win the Prem.

What a Club! I'm a proud Red. To think the lads almost pulled it off last night and the way they came back after conceding 3 goals was credit to them all! and all that with the 20th anniversary on their minds.
God I'm so glad I support Liverpool FC!!!

Now let's push and win nº19

Well we gave a good showing of ourselves in a "no hope" game.

We made a couple of mistakes, but when you are attacking at the rate we were, you leave yourself open at the back.

I'm proud of the way we played. We gave a good account of ourselves. I'm sure the 96 would have loved that. YNWA.

Drogba is just absolutely unplayable when he's in that kind of mood, Carragher always has a mare against him. Drogba just backs in to the defender, if the defender isn't strong enough he gets bullied if the defender is strong enough and pushes back then Drogba goes down like he's been shot (if only!). Probably the worst mistake Rafa has made since he's been at Liverpool is winding Drogba up last season!!

I was massively proud of them last night though, Alonso was an absolute colossus in the first half. Every player out there can be proud of themselves. Reina didn't have his greatest game but it was an very rare off-day for him and if it wasn't for his performance in the qualifier against Liege then Liverpool wouldn't have been in the CL in the first place.

i must say fair play to liverpool for the way they played last nite, it was the first leg that really done us and we were living on hope all last nite we neva had the lead to hold on to. i must say lucas isnt good enough to play for liverpool he couldnt lace lampard, essien or ballacks boots. he tried to go on a run down the left and lampard took it of him with ease. also i think its time carra starts to move over i think last nite showed his legs have gone he makes to many half hearted tackles and after 4 years stil cant deal with drogba. agger and skrtel are the futher. alonso ran the show for us last nite.

now with the scum to play arsenal its more games for them and less for use they will slip up along the line and we have to take full advantage.

does the fact that anelka was able to get that cross in from that position and drogba got his studs to that ball first must mean it was Reina's fault? it was uncharacteristic from Reina to fumble but at the end of the day two defenders failed to do their job beforehand. Reina's positioning was correct considering where the probable danger was coming from (a cross into the area from anelka or a pull back from drogba)

The freekick from Alex was unstoppable although Reina almost got a touch - most keepers would not have moved.

their 3rd Reina almost save too and the 4th was a typical goal from Lampard "the pinball wizard"

football's a team game and although some player may committed an absolute bloomer it's not fair to jump on their backs all the time - should we curse Torres for missing that easy opportunity that would have had us at 3nil come half time?

Spot on Joel - Pepe even admitted he wasn't close enough to his near post... see teamtalk.com for the quote.
