Why are we still so vulnerable to set pieces? Who was meant to be marking Mutch for his goal?

Very happy to get the 3 points, and happy to have 6/6 from the tricky December fixtures so far, puts us in a great position to take on City and Chelsea, but this is a worry and needs correcting or better teams will punish us.

Everyone went to sleep in the second half, we've been better defending set pieces before today's game. One eye on City I think.

am not too happy about skrtel and all his pulling and pushing. he is a penalty waiting to happen.

i would play agger and sako or toure and sako

totally agree skrtel got away with it today with the pulling and he wont get away with that at the etihad, other than the set pieces taught he played quiet well hopefully rodgers will sort it out before hand....

Would have preferred Agger in there today, hope he plays at least one or the two games coming up. Don't want him to leave

Hope he stays too, question is can him and Sakho play together. IMO Skrtel is doing ok but I fear a red card in a big game.

Wonder if the late sub with Agger coming on was to let the team play the same formation as we will use away against both Chelski and Citeh?

----------Mignolet----------

-----Skrtel-Agger-Sakho-----

Kelly-------------------Glen
-----------Lucas------------
Sterling-----Allen-----Hendo

-----------Suarez-----------

I reckon he will keep the same line up as he has done past two games. Can't see him risking Kelly from the start in such a big game. Hope you're right with that line up though

Completely had his back to the incoming ball too, being so 'busy' wrapping his arms around and tugging at the Cardiff players shirt.
Can be so effective, and then he acts like an utter tool. eek
