If we could go around the group and take a snapshot of your expectations for this session.

Here's mine.

Feet on the ground ? Absolutely but I have to confess if we don't finish in the top four I will be very disappointed in fact I will go further I would say I think we will have blown it. This December is critical but an outstanding start on that hard programme today

I said 12 points before and I maintain that. City looking the hardest test away but think we can do it. Too early to say title winners this season but definitely contenders and lets see after December.

Title not on my agenda

I'm taking it one game at a time,force of habit expecting a collapse at any moment..4th is a must.

Long long way off title contenders, and thats ok. The goal is CL first and foremost, higher than 4th is possible and would be a huge bonus, see what Christmas and then January brings.

This is my view to stan. Let's hope we don't get anymore injurys and bring a couple of world class players in January.

if we are less than 5 points off the top after xmas and we sign an alonso,cabeye or someone like that then we can win the prem no doubt about it. we will have most of our title rivals at anfield. we can finally settle on skrtel sahko as or best centre pairing. we have the best player in the world playing for us. just get the midfield player in to move the ball around for us.

Question is...how many do we need? The team covered very very well for the absent Gerrard and Sturridge...

My expectations...realistically, a hard fought battle for 2nd and 3rd...

Really need feet on the ground here. Spurs were shocking. Probably as bad as I have ever seen anyone play at home.

Get a home win v Cardiff is an absolute must. That is the next game not City or Chelsea. But get a win next week and we have virtually a free go at City.

If we last until the new year where we are, if we don't stay in the top four I'll be a bit disappointed. We won't win the title though.
