We'll have to see what happens. I think City away is the toughest of the three, but all three should be considered winable. I mean, if Stoke can score 3 goals against them and get a win, surely we can! That said. I'd probably take a draw from all three away from home.

and if results do go our way we could be top of the league and several points clear of 2nd.

I think you mean second, 2 points off first. Arsenal are still 2 points above us.

correct mate , ok a very long way to go it might not last , but surely brendan rodgers must get some credit from a certain few .

I think credit is due to BR for his man management skills after the defeat to Hull. It appears a few home truths were stated and those sorts of performances made all to clear as being unacceptable. I don't like seeing him or the team slated day in day out Faz but as pointed out previously he isn't starting the job or spent pennies -it's time to deliver.

I just wonder where we would be at present without Suarez's goals? It's probably wiser (although most of us find it hard to do) to reserve judgement for sometime yet. However much resilience we appear to be showing, I can't help feeling Suarez (and until a couple of weeks ago Sturridge) probably mask numerous weaknesses simply because they are the most gifted pairing we've had in years or even ever, and bang in form up front.

Nope, i meant if all the results go our way, as in the teams around us (inc. Arsenal) drop points. Anything can happen at this stage in the season. Was only highlighting the pessimistic nature of the post I quoted!

Keep an open mind...no one, including myself, would have predicted the table looking like it does before the season started. With a little bit of luck and a great signing or 2, we could have an outstanding season.

By contrast, Sturridge could aggravate his injury, Suarez could knock out a referee and be banned for half a season, Gerrard could retire early and we could get relegated. Who the F knows, eh?!

I am pleased with the position we hold in the table at present but come on, it's more to do with the easy fixture list we were handed in the first half of the league season not to mention the bigger Clubs still in massive transition with brand new managers or in Spurs case trying to bed in about 8 first team players, I fully expect the league to settle down by February and the cream of the big boys rising towards the top, 6th to 8th place for us this season in my opinion, gotta go all out to win the F.A.Cup for me.

Rubbish! -- we're a lock for top 5, but the ? is: in what order?

6-8th?!? ... really!?!

To be fair, barcodes, blue [oops], swans and arse away fixtures are always tough. Not many teams go away from their grounds undefeated. IMO, we did relatively well to get 3 draws and 1 loss from these 4 games. The only thing is that it would have been a lot better to get 3 points from one of those games.
